With a trailblazing modelling career, continuously spanning four decades, Kate Bell is one of Australia’s most successful and beloved models.

At 57, Kate is at the forefront of a progressive cultural shift, pioneering visibility of women over the age of 40, in the fashion and advertising industries.

Kate holds three groundbreaking firsts in Australian nationwide campaign advertising: first mature/classic model to headline beauty for Myer, underwear in Bonds and sporting for Rebel. Prodigious beauty brand Mecca rebranded using Kate’s image. Her vast and versatile portfolio includes YSL, Sony, Clarins and Nike. Nike Woman launched featuring Kate in a yoga pose. David Jones, Kate’s repeat client of 40 years, featured her in their game-changing “Models who are changing the face of fashion”, Christmas fashion campaign. Kate regularly appears in high-end fashion editorials, she has opened and closed runway shows in Australia and internationally. Kate strives to align with brands who share her vision for a kinder more equitable world.

Kate has cultivated a largely female following on social media. Her engaged, organic community, resonate with her insightful discourse around ageing, health and beauty, as seen through her niche, insider lens. Her work is all about connection, empowerment and discovery for women.

As a published writer, Kate crafts observant personal essays. Her work has been published on prestigious platforms such as Sunday Life, Sun Herald, and The Age. She has twice been published on Mamamia, Australia’s largest women’s media platform. Kate is a frequent guest on podcasts and the subject of many brand blogs.

Beyond the glamour of modelling, Kate embraces a holistic approach to life. Having practiced yoga asana and lived by yoga philosophy for most of her life, she became a qualified yoga teacher in her late 20s. She has shared her knowledge in yoga, in high schools, yoga studios, gyms, in corporate environments and in private homes. Kate created a world-first ‘infotainment’ concept in 2004, independently producing five inflight yoga and wellness sessions, which she sold to Qantas Entertainment. The series aired on Qantas flights 2000-2005. She also produced yoga-based series for banking giant HSBC.
