With a remarkable career spanning nearly four decades, Kate Bell is one of Australia’s most successful and beloved models. At 57, Kate’s at the forefront of a groundbreaking cultural shift: providing visibility to women over the age of 40 in the fashion and advertising industries.

Kate was Australia’s first mature model to front major national campaigns in beauty for Myer, underwear for Bonds, and activewear for Rebel. She was also featured in Mecca’s rebrand, marking a bold move by the iconic beauty brand to include women of mature ages. Her vast and versatile portfolio includes YSL, Sony, Clarins and Nike. Nike Woman launched with Kate featured practicing yoga. Kate’s longtime repeat client David Jones featured her in their “Models who are changing the face of fashion”, campaign. Kate regularly appears in high-end fashion editorials, she has both opened and closed runway shows in Australia and internationally. Kate strives to align with brands who share her vision for a kinder more equitable world.

Beyond the glitz and glamour, Kate embraces a holistic approach to life. Having practiced yoga asana and lived by yoga philosophy for most of her life, she became a qualified yoga instructor in her late 20s. She has shared her expertise in yoga, in high schools, yoga studios, gyms, in corporate environments and private spaces. Kate’s content creation journey started in 2004 with her first client being Qantas. She pioneered the ‘infotainment’ concept, independently producing five in-flight yoga and wellness sessions, which she sold to Qantas Entertainment. Soon after she produced and featured in a yoga-based series for banking giant HSBC.

Kate has cultivated an engaged, largely female following on social media, growing a community that is all about connection, empowerment and discovery for women.

Kate is a published writer, crafting insightful personal essays that have been published on prestigious platforms such as Sunday Life in the Sun Herald and The Age, and on Mamamia - Australia’s largest women’s media platform.
