Lakota Johnson is an actor, model and digital influencer whose profile is rapidly on the rise.

Gold Coast based, Lakota started working in the entertainment industry from a young age, with his father from the film industry in the US. Lakota joined CHIC Management at 16 years of age with the full support of his family.

Lakota’s winning smile and striking looks soon secured him modelling campaigns with a number of street-style, fashion brands including Footlocker, Nike, Universal Store, Super Dry, and Hallenstein Brothers.

Lakota has developed a strong digital following on Instagram, but when he joined Tik Tok in 2019, he rapidly gained a huge global following - within 7 weeks he reached 7 million likes and gained half a million followers. He now has over 1.6 million followers on the platform. Across Instagram and TikTok, Lakota has now collaborated with many world-renowned brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Timberland, Uniqlo, Ralph Lauren, Levi’s, Guess and Jean Paul Gaultier.

For the past several years, Lakota has landed featured roles in movies and TV shows, including a cast role in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis Presley biopic Elvis, a guest star role on Netflix’s Black AF, lead role in ABC's The Disposables in 2023. And 2024 sees Lakota star in Director Renny Harlin's Hollywood film Deep Water released in August.

Demonstrating his natural abilities in both acting and singing, Lakota took to the stage of The Star Gold Coast theatre in the lead role of Sky for their production of MAMMA MIA! The Musical in 2021.

Given Lakota’s dual citizenship for the US and Australia and the fact he can base himself in LA with family, it enables him to pursue both local and international opportunities.
