Tash Galgut is an actress, model and former Miss Universe Australia 2020 competitor.

Based in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, Tash is a first generation Australian, with her parents relocating from South Africa in the late 1980’s. Their desire to flee the violence and discrimination of apartheid led them to choose Australia as a safe place to raise their family.

A successful model, Tash has shot campaigns for quintessential Australian brands including MYER, BONDS, Bras N Things, P.E Nation, Lorna Jane, and OPSM, amongst many others.

As an actress Tash has trained at NIDA and Screenwise, and worked with Katerina Moraitis, Anna Lee, Tina Colagiuri, and Jonny Pasvolsky.

In 2019 Tash graduated from UTS with a Bachelor of Business degree; and in 2020 she entered Miss Universe Australia, placing 3rd in the competition, securing her 2nd Runner Up. Tash also won the Swim shoot component of the pageant which saw her becoming the face of the 2021 RUSTY Summer Swim Campaign.

Currently, Tash is studying her Cert III & IV Fitness at the OnFit Training College and is the co-founder and creator of OWN Wellness.
